Academic-I Section deals with Academic, Administrative and Service matters of Goa University such as issue of NOC’s/approval of teaching and non-teaching posts of Goa University, approval for CAS and Ph.D./M.Phil. increments of teaching staff, Academic Approval for pay fixation of non-teaching staff, All UGC Matters and all other Miscellaneous matters of Goa University. Academic-I Section also deals with Counting of past services and pay protection of Government Colleges, aided Colleges and Goa University of teaching and non-teaching staff.
