The Statistics Cell is responsible for collection, compilation and analysis of data from the different cell/section of higher education for planning and decision-making

The Statistical cell should keep ready the essential data pertaining to various aspects of the students, the faculty and the employees of the Higher Education and its Affiliated Colleges and Recognized Institutions A data of all higher education institutions are uploaded by the institutions on All India Higher Education Survey(AISHE) MHRD, Government of India spend. The Statistical cell shall also responsible for providing the information on financial as well as physical achievement on budget provided by government. Statistical cell also Authenticate Educational certificates of person holding qualification conferred by Goa University in Goa and desirous of going abroad for employment or Higher studies of the courses of study conducted by the educational institutions coming under Directorate Higher Education. Compilation and preparation of different reports such as monthly expenditure, SC/ST monthly reports, annual administration report, providing the Material for Budget speech, Economic survey, Explanatory memorandum, Performance budget, etc. of higher education department.
