Scheme for Engaging services of Retired Resourceful Teachers

An academician plays a pivotal role to help students evaluate and realize educational and career options. To boost the efforts of the State in promoting quality education, research and innovation, this scheme intends to engage the services of Retired Teachers to utilize their academic excellence, capabilities and skills to assist in developing meaningful educational, cultural, scientific, social, rural, urban, agricultural, developmental, oceanographic and other related goals that are consistent with interests, values and abilities of the State. Thus providing effective academic advising to students on campus, and empowering them to realize the full academic experience. The scheme shall be limited to the Government Departments, Government Autonomous Bodies, Government Societies, Government Corporations, Other Government Institutions and Public Sector Undertakings to utilize the specialized expertise possessed by the retired Teacher in diverse sphere of domain subject knowledge, research, development etc.
