Sourmitra Project

This Directorate intends to solarize Goa University and Government/Aided Colleges in Goa under its control by implementing Solar Panels on land available and on the rooftops in their campus through Goa State Solar Policy, 2017. To help the colleges/institutions to reduce their electricity expenses and contribute towards a more sustainable energy framework, solar panels are placed on the suitable rooftops of the buildings at various Colleges and Goa University Campus.
