Establishment of Research, Development and Innovation Centres in Colleges across Goa

Establishment of Research, Development and Innovation Centres in Colleges across Goa , to promote and develop research-oriented projects and teaching that will take Goan research to the international level. To facilitate and accelerate research training among researchers and college faculty, in the first phase of this initiative, Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) centres have been set up at three Government colleges. To coordinate and accelerate research activities at these research centers, each centre has been assigned a Research Director and a Research Team.

In addition to increasing the numbers of research centers in Goa, college faculties are being trained to submit research proposals to funding agencies. The grant money from successful proposals will partly be used to develop research facilities which in turn will improve research thereby facilitating world-class research programs.
