Establishment of 'Teaching, learning and Educational Technology (TLET)' cell at Higher Education Institutes (HEIs)

The establishment of Teaching, learning and Educational Technology TLET)’ cell at Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) is to mainly promote teaching, learning pedagogies & education technologies in all Colleges. The TLET cells will also implement ‘Outcome based Education (OBE)’ and organize orientation programmes to their College faculty. This will impart high quality education, to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process in HEIs. The cell will strategise and recommend ways to improve NAAC accreditation & NIRF ranking. The cell will provide high quality education in line with the NEP recommendation and create an ecosystem of motivated faculty and students. The cell will also promote Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) in college teams to develop institutional own MOOC course with an objective to create world-class learning resources in higher education. The TLET will promote use of ICT in classroom teaching using blended learning and Dishtavo teaching modules. In the first phase all institutes have installed TLET cells in their respective colleges and conducted OBE workshops for their faculty.
